Academic Curriculum
Our school has adopted the LEAD Curriculum for Primary classes, focusing on innovative and comprehensive learning approaches to ensure a strong educational foundation.
LEAD School's Syllabi
LEAD School's syllabi are important because they are based on research and provide a holistic education that goes beyond rote learning:
- Research-Based Curriculum: LEAD's curriculum is based on extensive research and practical application for all subjects and grades.
- Holistic Education: LEAD's curriculum aims to provide students with a well-rounded education, not just rote learning.
- Tech-Integrated Teaching: LEAD's tech-based teaching process uses multi-modal learning to help students develop thinking skills and applications that prepare them for the future.
- DREAM Approach: LEAD's curriculum is based on NCERT/SCERT guidelines, but the DREAM approach is used to improve it further. This approach involves removing irrelevant concepts, resequencing chapters, adding sub-concepts, and modifying incorrect content.
- New-Age Skills: LEAD's curriculum exposes students to new skills like coding, and helps them excel in English.
- Lesson Plans: LEAD's expert curriculum team provides teachers with ready-made lesson plans that include worksheets, assessments, and video content, allowing teachers to lead students through a well-designed course path without having to create their own lesson plans.
Robotics
Robotics offers numerous educational benefits, making it a valuable addition to the curriculum:
- Efficiency: Robots can complete tasks quickly and accurately, which can reduce the time and resources needed to complete a task. This can help businesses increase their productivity and reduce their costs.
- Safety: Robots can handle risky or dangerous jobs, which lowers the possibility of accidents or strain-related injuries.
- Sustainability: Robots can reduce waste, noise pollution, fuel usage, pollutants, and other environmental negatives.
- Competitive Advantage: Robotics can help businesses keep up with the latest trends and advances in the manufacturing industry. It can also help them improve quality control.
- Interdisciplinary: Robotics combines the use of electronics, mechanics, and coding software to program robots to do particular jobs. This provides students with a good opportunity to gain command over STEM subjects.
Knowledge
Today knowledge and information are the main keys of obtaining the productivity, competition, wealth, and comfort. It is necessary to look at our schools and education and see if our education is progressing in step with the world that is changing and developing quickly. In fact, preparation for applying the technology and awareness of technology enhance the quality of the students’ learning.
- Global Education System: Advent of personal computers and extent access to the internet establishes an environment making global education systems obliged to change their education structure in major ways. The duty of educational systems confronting the changes is clear. Its primary purpose should be increasing the human power against changes, i.e., someone can adapt to continuous change, observing quickly.
- IECD: The more rapid change, the more attention should be paid to recognizing the future of young minds in schools. In that way, the Institute for Entrepreneurship and Career Development (IECD) of the University has come out with the best practice namely School-University-Industry-Tie-Up Scheme (SUITS) to prepare young children in schools to update themselves in the domains of Information Technology by sharing the expertise of our University and Industries. I am certain that the initiatives of IECD through SUITS shall be able to make young students master IT skills which are part of 21st-century skills.
General Knowledge
General Knowledge (GK) is an essential component of the school curriculum, offering students a broader perspective beyond standard academics:
- Importance: To enhance the knowledge to students. Apart from the curriculum, General Knowledge plays a vital role in the school curriculum. Most importantly, it will bring a lot more ideas and we could be able to connect with current affairs.
- Focus: To enhance General Knowledge efficiently. To know the importance of historical information. To enhance the knowledge from basic to advanced. Also helpful for competitive exams.
- About the Book: This book has specific categories to introduce topics to the students.
